Observational Gamer rating score: 9.5 (based on rating scale of 1-10, 10 being the most awesome)Īll right, I say I rambled on long enough so I’m going to keep this ending short.

Features like this just made the game more life-like for me and a lot more enjoyable. I picked a nickname that means a lot to me, Cupcake, because my Dad has called me that for years and still does to this very day.

Another small thing that I love is that you can be called by a nickname. When I played though Pokémon Y, I tried to make the main protagonist look as much like me as I could because I always loved imagining myself in the Pokémon adventure and this customization made it a whole lot easier to do so. For once, the character you play as feels unique, instead of everyone playing as the same male or female character that you choose from as in previous Pokémon games. This it the first time in a Pokémon game where you can change your characters outfits, hair style and even eye color, with contacts. First off, is the previously mentioned character customization. I would also like to make a short note on a few other features that were added.
